Letter dated 6Apr2015
Dear Family and Friends,
Today caught us by surprise. The library was closed because it's "Annan dag påsk," or "Second Day Easter." (This caught me and äldste Bybee by surprise last year, as well.) So we are emailing at the chapel now. And happy "Second Day Easter," everyone!
On Wednesday, I said "good-bye" to äldste Rasmussen, which was sad. My new companion is äldste Ward, who is from Ann Arbor! So we are two Michiganders working here in Södertälje :D
This week we started running each morning with our friend, Manuel, so he can stop smoking. That has been really fun. He's from Cuba and is teaching us a little Español. I can already say "your dog is beautiful" in Spanish! Hehem: "Tu pera es bonita."
Watching general conference was a blast! I loved the first talk about charity and fasting, by President Eyring. We watched one of the sessions with the Wesemeyers, which was so fun! The whole family and some of their friends came and watched it, then we bore our testimonies for a time afterward. It was brilliant :)
The pictures are of us at the Wesemeyers on Friday celebrating Easter!
I hope and pray each of you has a terrific week.
Love,
--
Äldste Daniel Schindler
