Dear Family and Friends,
This week was so fun. The Pictures are of Äldste Ward and me at a Town called Katrineholm, where there is a herd of giant weird statures, us on a hike in Tullinge to find a good spot to do our weekly planning, a Cherry tree in Eskilstuna, and a pine portal outside of Södertälje. If you look at these cities on a map, you can tell we traveled a lot this week. We also Went to Örebro for a district meeting there!
So I'm pretty tired after a hectic week, but am invigorated to start up again in a few minutes.
I have been thinking a lot lately about how many different situations I have been in and about how I have gotten solutions to those through prayer. And I'd like to name a few: when a friend called while I was serving in Eskilstuna and said that he was in the Woods on the outskirts of a city named Flen which is an hour away from Eskilstuna, and that his girlfriend had run off with threats of suicide, there was nothing I could do except to encourage him to pray. 10 minutes later, after praying, he found his girlfriend.
Also in Eskilstuna, at one of the Points of my Life where I have been most tired, Äldste Bybee and I prayed to know what to do, and the answer came to knock doors in a specific area -- the priority three on the list I had thought to do Before praying. And that night was when we found Zohreh and Mahmoud, the latter of whom was baptized.
And I thought of when I was a sophomore and prayed to know how to make holy the Sabbath day. The answer was felt to avoid homework on Sundays. Doing that was so hard at first, but SO helpful for me that year! It gave me a regular break from stress and gave me a greater appreciation for Christ's atoning sacrifice.
I love prayer so much! It is one of the very greatest gifts God has given us -- to speak regularly with Him. I know that God loves us and that we can have his guidance in our lives through personal revelation and the revelation of prophets. And I am so glad for it! I would encourage you to peruse and ponder 2 Nephi 32 :)
I love you all!
Love,

Dear Family and Friends,
This week I Went on exchagnes with Äldste Hansen in Linköping, which is a beautiful city. We helped a Dutch member in her garden, and after that it started raining and both of our appointments canceled. But fortunately we found other people on the street and bus, and it turned into a good day.
Probably the most neat thing that happened this week was that Beauty and Camsin found a wonderful apartment to live in! Their situation had been a little sketch before. But they now have a very nice apartment, and we all know that it's an answer to prayers and a miracle!
Enjoy this week's pictures of:
One of the many confusing traffic situations in Sweden.
BYU!
Accupressure during family home evening. It's a 3,000-year-old Chinese science.
And our friend, the mini-horse.
I hope you each have a wonderful week :)
Love,

Dearest Family and Friends,
We had such a busy, good week. The weather is getting quite nice, and today people who look like government workers from "Hunger Games" came to the city to clean up the streets! The streets have been full of pebbles that had been used to provide traction in the wintertime, and now those are being removed. After walking on rocks for a couple months, smooth streets feel like clouds. So we are thrilled, even though we don't do that much walking; we have a car. It has been fun trying to learn car rules here. We found out the other day that you can't make a right turn on red. So we had been doing that wrong for a while...
Äldste Ward (from Ann Arbor, Michigan) is fun to be with. He has hair the color of the sea Moses parted and can dunk a basketball in a Swedish hoop. We played lots of basketball earlier today. I can now dunk a mini basketball on a 3-meter hoop!
We went to Stockholm on Tuesday for a missionary tribal council at the Beckstrands' house. On Wednesday, we went to Stockholm for a couple meetings with stake presidents, high councilors and President Beckstrand. We were blessed with American root beer while there :) Friday we were in Katrineholm all day, first with our zone (the 30 missionaries serving in the neighboring area about the size of Michigan's upper peninsula) for a zone training and then working in that city with different companions. I was with Äldste Higgins! We visited Petra, who has all these dogs! I've never seen so many dogs in one place at a time. See the picture :) We also taught Pia that day. It was really cool to meet her. She started investigating the church 2 weeks ago. She's a little older than I and a Swede, who watched general conference for the first time last weekend and got an answer to each of her many questions -- which were both spiritual and temporal! It was cool to see how prophets' words can help all people.
This week we started teaching a really great guy in Södertälje named Aslan. Turns out, aslan means lion in many languages. But this man is human.
We called Johnson on Saturday night (we had not met him before), and he came to church on Sunday and we met him! During sacrament meeting, he went up and shared his testimony of coming to church! It was so cool to see that. He is the brother-in-law of our great mission leader here, Okoro.
The pictures are of 1) Stockholm, 2) the 3 Michiganders in the zone, 3) me fixing dessert at Italo's and his family's house and 4) all the dogs!
It is good to hear that everyone's doing well. Hope you all have a wonderful week next week!
Love,

Dear Family and Friends,
Today caught us by surprise. The library was closed because it's "Annan dag påsk," or "Second Day Easter." (This caught me and äldste Bybee by surprise last year, as well.) So we are emailing at the chapel now. And happy "Second Day Easter," everyone!
On Wednesday, I said "good-bye" to äldste Rasmussen, which was sad. My new companion is äldste Ward, who is from Ann Arbor! So we are two Michiganders working here in Södertälje :D
This week we started running each morning with our friend, Manuel, so he can stop smoking. That has been really fun. He's from Cuba and is teaching us a little Español. I can already say "your dog is beautiful" in Spanish! Hehem: "Tu pera es bonita."
Watching general conference was a blast! I loved the first talk about charity and fasting, by President Eyring. We watched one of the sessions with the Wesemeyers, which was so fun! The whole family and some of their friends came and watched it, then we bore our testimonies for a time afterward. It was brilliant :)
The pictures are of us at the Wesemeyers on Friday celebrating Easter!
I hope and pray each of you has a terrific week.
Love,
